Industry Compensation Survey Results

As part of the Climbing Wall Association's mission to support the growth, health, independence, and professionalism of the indoor climbing industry, the CWA conducted the first ever Industry Compensation Survey. This was the first in a series of ongoing survey projects aiming to bring relevant and usable data to the indoor climbing industry.

The Industry Compensation Survey began on November 11, 2014 and closed on February 6, 2015. During the live period, this voluntary survey was sent to all current members of the Climbing Wall Association. The survey addressed facility-specific and employee-specific compensation practices in both for-profit and not-for-profit climbing gyms and multi-use recreational facilities.
