The CWI Level 1 course offers CWI candidates an introduction to the following:
- Creating a welcoming client experience
- Risk management when montioring unroped climbing activities
- Introductory instructional skills
- CWI Certification Standards for bouldering activities

Steps to earn your Level 1 Certification
There are no grace periods given for the below assignments.
- Complete all 3 interactive lessons
- Complete an online quiz with a score of at least 80%
- Attend a virtual meeting with your Provider
- Upload a video demonstrating your falling technique
- Upload a video of you delivering a bouldering orientation
REFUND POLICY
- Refund request 30 in advance of the start date, 95% of total course cost is given.
- Refund request 14 in advance of the start date, 75% of the total course cost is given.
- Refund requests within 14 days of the start date, are reviewed and at the discretion of the organization.
PREREQUISITES*
- 16 years of age or older
- Experience bouldering
- Ability to climb V0
