Speaker: Bob Mitchell, Owner, Inspirations Fitness
Bob Mitchell is a very active Adaptive Athlete who views "disability" as an adjective that describes only one way of doing physical things. After his amputation in 2021, Bob re-branded his personal training business to work with other amputees as well as his able-bodied clientele. Through fitness training, Bob is helping others redefine what their abilities are and how to get stronger and more independent doing things in a new way. As an avid Rock Climber, Bob has been a local voice for inclusion and introduction of the adaptive community into the sport of climbing as therapy and recreation. Bob holds credentials with the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ATA (Adaptive Training Academy), C4HP (Camp for Human Performance), and the USPA (United States Powerlifting Association).
