Board of Directors Overview

The CWA Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from all areas of the indoor climbing industry working together to help shape strategic initiatives aimed at promoting growth and stability within the industry. The CWA is focused on increasing and diversifying representation to promote a more comprehensive voice of the industry.

Call for Applications - October 2023

The Climbing Wall Association is currently seeking representatives from various sectors of the indoor climbing industry to join the CWA Board of Directors. Our goal is to recruit two new board members by the end of the year. If you are interested please fill out the application by October 13th. Individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply as are representatives from the following roles:

• Owner/operators of climbing facilities
• Routesetters
• Climbing gym managers
• Climbing coaches
• Higher education professionals

Background or experience in non-profit governance, management, finance, and law are preferred but not required. The current BOD will review all applications and select qualified candidates for appointment.
